Mengapa Melabur Dalam Pelaburan Perak?

Saya mula mengkaji tentang pelaburan perak selepas membaca dan
melihat video Robert T Kiyosaki dan Mike Maloney pada 2009.
Saya petik kata-kata Robert T Kiyosaki, ”Silver is the best investment of
this decade.”
Mike Maloney pula berkata, ”If you invest in silver now, you can buy a
three-bedroom median house CASH for only 500 oz. of silver.”
Saya ingat lagi benda pertama yang terpacul dalam fikiran saya:
”Apa? Perak? Beli rumah TUNAI hasil dari pelaburan perak? Perak
mana ada harga? Gila apa beli perak?!”
Saya begitu curiga dengan kenyataan mereka berdua kerana pada akhir
2009, perak baru sahaja mengalami harga pembetulan (price correction)
yang agak besar. Harga perak turun dari USD21 ke USD9. Walaupun
harga emas mengalami nasib yang agak sama tetapi prestasi emas ketika
itu lebih memberangsangkan.
Melalui pembacaan selanjutnya saya dapati nasihat Mike Maloney dan
Robert Kiyosaki ada kebenarannya. Apabila saya mula membaca tentang
kegunaan emas dan perak, saya dapati majoriti bekalan emas di dunia
hanya digunakan untuk simpanan atau perhiasan.
Oleh kerana emas sangat bernilai manusia akan sedaya upaya
mengekalkan jumlah emas yang sedia ada. Hanya 5% emas 'hilang' dari
muka bumi sejak penemuannya.
Manakala perak pula digunakan secara meluas di dalam industri.
Permintaan ke atas perak AMAT TINGGI!
Menurut silverinstitute.org, perak digunakan di dalam industri dan
hiasan, fotografi, dan barang kemas & perak.
Sebagai bahan industri, perak digunakan dalam:
• Bateri
• Pateri
• Pemangkin
• Elektronik
• Aplikasi Perubatan
• Tenaga Solar
• Penulenan air
Negara India dan China yang sedang pesat membangun amat
memerlukan bekalan perak bagi memenuhi kehendak sektor
perindustrian mereka.
Sebagai bukti, menurut commodityonline.com, China bertukar daripada
pengeksport perak berjumlah 3000 tan pada 2005 kepada pengimport
berjumlah 3500 tan!
Kemakmuran dan kenaikan taraf hidup telah menyebabkan peningkatan
permintaan ke atas barangan elektronik seperti televisyen, pemain mp3,
telefon bimbit dan komputer riba.
Semua barangan konsumer ini memerlukan perak. Bezanya dengan
emas, perak tidak dilihat sebagai logam yang dihargai. Bila dah jadi
sampah, tiada yang peduli untuk mengitar semula.
Ini menjadikan bekalan perak semakin susut setiap tahun DAN
melonjakkan harganya di pasaran dunia.
